I reckon my van would look nice with a set of Alloys.
Thing is, i don't want wider ones than the exisiting tyres because I want to keep the steering as light as it is now !
Anybody recommend some Alloys the same width as the existing stock tyres, that would fit straight on

OE VW Carat type alloys, go straight on, same studs etc, tyres are 205 x 14"

Do they just bolt straight onto the hubs.
I don't know if I have fixed studs and nuts, or bolts at the moment.
Does it matter ?
yes

Ah,
If they were going for fifty quid I would buy em.
Looks like they need a fair bit of refurb, and Iv'e never refurbed a wheel before.
Not saying they aren't worth £150 to someone, but too much for me at the moment.
Whats the best price ?

for info: Sold a set of excellent Carat alloys, with quality make tyres that had done at most 5000 miles, went for £200. Watch Ebay, they come up regular, also watch the "for sale" items forum

Remember to check the load rating of the wheels as your average van is heavier than most cars..............and idealy you should be running on 8 ply tyres
