Early sliding door rubber bit at end of handle

Does anyone know if you can get these from anywhere. I've searched all over the usual places but can't find anyone who does them. It's the little rubber/plastic bit that pushes into the 2 holes at the end of the handle. Like a protective guard
Thanks
Paul

Not sure what you mean by two holes in the handle, mine's an early slider and have recently had it apart and cleaned up. Can't remember seeing two location holes on the handle.
I had to use a trimmed rubber grommet on the handle which then seals on the plastic eschutchon plate, as one is shown on parts lists, but early ones n/a. My modified rubber grommet seems to do the job ok .

I've got an early sliding door and I don't have one of these, I'm intrigued, where do they go and what do they do?

Looks like they were only fitted on the first few years of the early door. I should have one somewhere.

It goes at the end of the handle, towards the back. It's just a little bit of rubber that basically does nothing.....apart from leaving 2 holes in your door

Thanks for that, I don't think I'll bother then!
