hi all, we are off for a trip around the IOW on wednesday, we have fitted some merc alloys for the trip , they are fitted with 195 55 16 tyres ,
i do intend on changing tyres ,will it be ok to run them for this trip ?not bothered about speedo just dont want to mess anything up

They're about 5% smaller than the standard 185 R14, so your speedo will be showing slightly higher speeds than actual, and your engine will be a bit 'revvy' but otherwise shouldn't be a problem as long as the load rating is okay.
