Seat belts ????

I have a 1986 T25 and I have been asked to use it as a wedding car it is fitted with a full width R&R bed and no belts,do I have to have belts fitted to take passengers
Any help would be apriciated

I think rear seat belts became compulsory fit in 1987 although quite a few vehicles had them before they were compulsory. If you fit the belts I guess they have to be worn! Fitted them in the back of mine with a full width rock and roll, not an especially difficult job.

Do you know if its a factory window van or a converted panel van . easy to fit belts to factory van , the seat belt points are there already.

It was a minibus but I haven't got the time to put belts in the back before the wedding

From what I've researched, if you have seat belts in the back, the number of passengers in the back is limited to the number of rear seat belts. If you don't have any seat belts in the back, you're restricted by the amount of seats as to how many passengers you can carry in the back.
