hi all

Thinking about a T25 Westfalia poptop - and wondering (like you do) what's it like camping in winter in one of those beauties, in particular sleeping in the roof? How good an insulator is that fabric in the pop-top?

We had a reimo poptart , which was ok , its the wind that really put me off , like being in a tent ..
as for warmth i think Si brickyard was or is selling thermo covers for the canvas

buy a high-top mate! The canvas on the pop-top is neither wind nor rain-proof and bloody freezin' in winter

unless you buy one of si baxters thermal wraps and then its no worrys

yep they sure get wet(falia) and cold...not at all a winter camper

or go for the compromise, looks and practicality , a solid sided poptop
