Apparently to most on here, the 1.7 ('KY') normally aspirated diesel is underpowered, & I understand this. It works fine for me, but I don't carry huge weights with it. For what it is, I drive it with verve, & probably overtake as many people as overtake me.

Can I mention economy? The petrol-gas conversion people may laugh, & say that they drive cheaper, but I don't know that they do. They may accelerate a bit faster, though!

Note that I get about 40mpg (but remember the word verve, above - so it's not by pussyfooting!).

There is a relationship between emissions & quanity of fuel used, regardless of fuel type. So if I do more per gallon (litre) ....
