'Van is going well at the mo' quote of the year.

Slight problem today. Stripped the inside of entire van so all noises are really pronounced.

Parked up after a 30 min commute to work, temp gauge sat at 11 o clock all the way.

Slight bubbling noise at the back, opened the hatch, coolant seeping from somewhere. Top of temp sensor had some coolant by it. Have changed temp sensor, maybe I havent put it on tight enough??

It seems to be over pressurising and not going to the other tank, header tank pressure cap seems to work ie it quacks, no splits.

I have bled the system recently (having changed the radiator), followed the guide on the wiki.

Any suggestions?? Kind of worried to drive 30 min journey home

Top up the expansion bottle and put the cap back on and start it up and let it idle and come up to temp whilst looking to see if you have bubbles in the top up tank, that's where the expansion tank blows off into, if there's gas getting through from the engine it points to either a failed darlek cap (quack or not) not holding pressure so coolant boils, or an internal engine issue meaning products of combustion are getting into the coolant system and venting via the cap to the top up tank tank. You did have the heater on when you bled the system ? If not could have been a big air lock, if you don't do a few ups and down hill then the system might not have properly bled, they do self bleed normally.

Cleaned area. There was a slight weep from jubelee clip from header tank to bleed rail - sorted that.
Filled expansion tank. Got it up to half way on gauge, got some air from radiator, back and forth till coolant started coming out of radiator with no bubbles.
Will keep an eye on it. Heater wasn't on but in hot position when I Initally did it.
Bled the system 2 weeks ago as the old radiator was leaking. Have been using it daily, and had no problems.
The darlek cap was from Brickwerks and got that about 6 months ago.
