My wiring loom has burnt out behind the dash board, The mechanic is having trouble sourcing one. Any ideas and as its a left hand drive would it be different to a RHD one. Many thanks,

what year what engine ?
I have a lhd dash loom here from a 86 syncro which was diesel but basic

I'd say you really want a loom from an upto 85 van then, one with the ceramic fuses as the connections are so different, it's possible to modify the later one but it is likely to be many hours work, check with Mick at VWNW to see what he's got/is breaking
