Just when I thought things were coming together. .......
I managed to finally get the old housing off and the new one on. Took a step back to admire my mechanical skills and realised there was a spare connection without a hose???
Having read up I now realise this is for the oil cooler? (I think?)
Should my 1.9DG need this? Previous housing was blanked off.
What are my options.
Blank the end off? If so, how?
Buy the correct housing?
This project started off as a simple coolant upgrade but keeps biting me on the backside.

no your 1.9 doesn't need it so you can blank it off, you can buy silicon rubber blanking pipes in various sizes from fleabay
