Who would have thought that this was underneath? Lol
Any recommendations on where to go for the bestest quality panels?

I'll second that.
My steps were rotten too, one was like yours and one was 100% fibreglass.
All good now.

Try telling that to any MOT tester now!
My steps were like that about 10 years ago. I took it to the same place back then for MOT, but their attitude changed & why I stopped using this garage. Each year they would pass the steps with holes in them. One year they failed it on both steps citing this 12cm from a structural point. I did argue the previous passes, so I just got them repaired and never used the garage again.
However, I have always wondered what is this 12cm structural point distance. Is it by free air distance point to point, or 12cm along the metalwork etc? Steps are a lip as such are they actually bodywork structural?

Mine were listed as an advisory Item on the last MOT, So I've now repaired with panels from Brickwerks.
