Not sure that anyone will want to hear this, but I live just up the road from coney. There was a fatal accident there on sunday when a land rover rolled. Not sure how much trouble the land owner(steve if i remember correctly)will be in but it might be worth checking what the situation is for future bookings- even if they are some way off.I know that he used to have alot of trouble with people that lived up near the top woods when i used to go trialling with a local club a few years ago, this might be what they were waiting for??
Not meaning to shout about such a terrible tragedy, just local info that i thought someone may appreciate.

Thanks, a rare tragedy off-roading :(

I will investigate the situation... those people who lived on the land have long been moved on I believe.

Yes, a tragic accident for sure. We were talking about this on the mud-club.

My gut feel is that it will be open - other venues are still open where fatal accidents have happened.

Have a good one......

Not an off-road event apparently, some some sort of post-wedding party, barbecue, tug-o-war, a bit of driving around, not where we we go on site either, not steep and LR had roll-cage and full-harnesses, so ? - all allegedly.

CF first event 2007 - we'll be starting taking bookings very soon - lots of new faces will be there - and lots of old ones too :P

watch this space :)

Everyone who has booked so far for Coney should have received an email with details of the event. If you didn't please look here: http://www.club80-90syncro.co.uk/Syncro ... mApr07.htm

As we are now getting quite full please contact Clive or I as soon as possible if you are intending to come. Nobody will be admitted on the day without prior booking.

Thanks.
