when I had an a/c t25 I removed the rear box at least twice over the time that I owned it. I always used a ring spanner that I cut in half in length or however short to fit and then used another suitable ring spanner to turn it.

Ray, the half a spanner trick worked a treat.....infact it took me longer to saw the spanner in half than it did to get the nut off

must be the season for exhausts. Just had to buy a back box for mine (1700 diesel looks a bit easier to get off)
Cost me £53 inc vat from gsf..................which is a fifth of what I paid for the van a year ago.
What with starter motor bushes and a litre of oil every month its getting expensive :lol
