Dinitrol Underseal on Rustoleum

Morning All,

Been working on my van's sills, derusted and 2pk Primer, then painted with Rustoleum.

I want now to use Dinitrol on the painted sill to finish, has anyone done this before as I'm now
a bit concerned the Dinitrol will not adhere to the Rustoleum due to it's smooth finish.

If anyone has any ideas, suggestions or this experience please let me know as I'll be doing other sill shortly
and want to use Dinitrol for protection .

Only tried painting the sill to see how the Rustoleum performed, which when I left it last night looked
pretty good from floor level!

Atb,
Chris

Hi i would yes it will, having sprayed some on my old sunbeam inc inside the engine bay and as in your case the sills its still there and going strong, showing no signs of coming off after approx a year, cheers. :ok

My suggestion, providing the rustoleum is fully hardened (and it can take up to 3 weeks), just go over the paint lightly with a scotchbrite (green scourer) to be sure of adhesion.

Thanks CovKid and Paperhouse for the advice, I'll leave this sill as suggested for few weeks.

On the other sill I'll leave as Primer and brush on Dinitrol to finish, should be ok ?
