JX inlet pressure valve

Hi everybody! Newbie here! Just got my first T25 and am overhauling the JX engine. Been lurking a long time for resources on this forum, first time posting..
On the inlet manifold is a pressure relief valve, but it's not connected to anything? Is this correct or should there be some air hose going somewhere from this??
Part 1 in this diagram, there's no hose on it in this picture either:

Cheers!

Yes..it's called a BOV ( blow off valve,I kid you not!!) it's supposed to relieve inlet manifold pressure when gets to1.5bar ( ish )
I've got a "port" wine cork wedged in mine to stop it working!!
Some models have a pipe from the BOV to the inlet side of the turbo.

thanks mate! will leave as is for now, no corks I guess
slightly irrelevant question: is the inlet manifold gasket a "service item" on this engine, ie. is it good to replace it as a preventive measure? since I already have the airbox and rocker cover out of the way.. or better to just leave it as long as there's no known leak...?

Ealy ones up to around 87 had this setup where the BOV was connected to the inlet pipe with the crankcase breather is connected to the S shaped rubber connector just before the turbo. Later setup where the breather is connected to the inlet pipe and the BOV just breathes to the air is better as the curbo cannot suck oil directly from the crankcase

Worth checking valve clearances and set with shims especially if the last service date is not known
