Side Door Lock Broken - Help!

Morning lovely folk.

Please be kind to a newish member and technical layman!

Mods feel free to move if this is in the wrong place.

The interior handle to unlock the sliding side door of my T25 has snapped, leaving the screw in the mechanism and the handle only able to operate by holding it on manually (pictures below). Do I need to buy a whole new locking system or is there a sneaky way of getting said snapped screw out? If a new lock is needed, could anyone advise on best place to buy?

Thanks in advance.
Dan

Is it the long black interior handle thats the problem , your photos seem to focus on the little lock knob.

The snapped screw thread can be seen in the hole... :-\

Drill it out? Can be fixed by the right technique, no need to buy anything new hopefully.

Though maybe u don't need the handle screwed on, just keep it close by :-)

Multisi- you can adjust the picture in its frame.

Thanks for replies chaps - drill it out how though?

Have had it close by for so long but with small kids in the van now it's too risky!

Start with a small drill bit , keep it in the centre.
