AFN, sensors and temp gauge?

Can anyone with a JX to AFN conversion please tell me how they have the temp gauge wired in?
Specifically.
How many wires from the coolant temp sensor?
2 or 4?
which colour type of sensor please.
All sorted. Gauge runs from JX wiring rotted under plastic, glow plug light flashing long short code was broken fuse in black engine bay box. No oil light was head sensor just in case anyone else has similar problems.
