Tool help

I need a new valve spring compressor
Seen a few on the net.
It's been a long time since I had one, and there seems to be a wider selection.
Anyone recommend one?

Alternatively if somebody has one I could use I'll arrange a collection.

Also need a valve guide drift and a small piston, ring guide/applicator.

Thanks.

Have a Sykes Pickavant one in the garage you're welcome to borrow.

Haven't forgotten about the MX5 wheels, still interested?

Alas my lads impatience saw him go else where.
But thanks anyway.
Is the compressor easy to use?

Sorry but mine is not worth recommending, I had to modify it to get it to work, the handle springs off so I have to us e a clamp to hold it, it's a right pain, I'm interested in what's recommended myself.

Was quite easy to use the last time I used it in 1988......

One of these -

I'll have to explore the garage.

just about see in this pic, the skirt around the valve springs is tall so the tool hits the skirt before the spring is compressed enough, I bent it a bit and moved one screw, drilled new holes to pivot this black bit in so it just works.

it's also at the limits so the handle keeps releasing without being held, seee home made clip on handle.

This looks more promising but need to measure up to be sure, still might ping open, double springs are quite strong
