Hi there
I have a new cab headlining that I need to fit. I have the bars and the witches hats and the headlining comes with the card strip sewn at the rear just like the original.

Please could I have some hints/tips on how to fit it?
I have the windscreen out already

I can see the metal tabs on the rear and the sides which hold the lining in place however I am unsure on the correct order to start fitting?

Do I fis the rear first, then glue the front then the years?

Just one of those jobs you don't many chances at getting it right so want to be ready as possible.

slide the reinforced end into the rear channel with the outer layer so that when folded back it will be the visible side, pop the bars into the witches hats back to front check it's centred left to right tension to the pre contact adhesive glued windscreen lip fold over and then you can do the folds which can I think be glued to body at end between the front and rear and side and slip sides under the strips when you are happy the strips get gently yet firmly flattened then you cut some apertures as required for over cab lights and visors and rear view mirror and fit them

I have had a new one here for a while to be installed on my pickup ,in the end I explained the job to someone and left him to it, I now have to do the final tidy and cuts and apply the heat gun to shrink out the wrinkles at the rear around the first seam which are quite minimal, Russel advised me previously judicious warm air gun application will shrink it slightly to get an even tension
