Holdsworth Villa 3 - seals for van conversion windows

Hello
I'm after some advice on what seals to order for the Windows on my van. She's an 85 C reg Holdsworth Villa 3 converted from a panel van. Was going to order from seals direct but noticed there are several different options for the widths of both grooves. Just wondering what others have order in the past?

Thanks

Or is it easier to order the seals from just kampers and hope they are the right ones?

Interested too
My tin top had seals from JK years ago and they look different to my Villa 3 seals, the Holdsworth seals are quite tall.
I think you want same profile if you can, time to measure up.

Looks like this glass thickness is 2 or 3mm, certainly no thicker. The overall width of the seal spanning the van body and glass is approx 20mm - it may have shrunk a little with age.

I will measure mine later, no guarantee either is origional, I suppose the difference I saw could be an illusion.

Hiya
I ordered window seals from Seals Direct and received very good service.
Mine is a '87 converted panel van and I ordered "WR62 Window section 5mm x 1.6mm". I also used the "FS72 Black Filler Strip" from them as well.
I did the 3 side windows with this and found it very easy to do. I used a liquid window cleaner as the lubricant to assist the insertion as this just evaporated away leaving no mess unlike washing up liquid I'd tried in the past.
Hope this helps
John

Try MetalMickey on here.

He does restorations and such, and sells the rubbers for the side windows.
Ordered some a few days ago and arrived this morning by courier.

Find a thread in the resto section he has done stuff on, and send him a PM. :ok

Don't suppose you can do an end section pic with a ruler

How's this?
One with tape, and the other pic shows profile / shape

Thanks so 20mm which is pretty standard as are my tin top ones I got from JK several years ago but my Holdsworth Villa 3 has slightly larger 26mm seals, I'm sure 20mm would work but it would be nice to know if the larger ones were available?

Fingernails far too clean, you need a project

Yep, Mick wanted me to take pics as he had a couple of different options.
He had a few variants.

I'd take on a project, but I like my leisure time and getting rather partial to clean nails :rofl
I've resorted to paying someone who knows what they're doing to gut the rust on the van :ok

I do have my carb to rebuild though for when it's all nice and shiny.
Looking forward to it now - new paint, a working carb and power steering ..!!
