Need help - tintop roof

Need a bit of help - for once :)

My plan is to fix up some small storage recesses on kitchen side, above worktop, in a tintop. As mine is a Caravelle everything is headlined so I can't see whats underneath. There must be at least some fixing points in the roof in the ribs. Anyone any pics of a stripped out one so I can see what I can fix to?

Thers a small lip that runs all the way round, about 3 or 4 inches deep.

Showing mine in-situ I'm afraid, they appear to be screwed onto a rail which runs along at the same level as the air vents (don't know if caravelles have those though).

From the top of the factory window rubber there is 6 1/2 inch of metal to fix into. The top has a inch of vertical. Its fairly thick metal except down near the window rubber.

I've sent you a couple of pics via Facebook (easier than photobucket), the quality isn't great because of the dull light at the moment. I can certainly take more on a brighter day if required.

Many thanks for going to the trouble Steven. And thanks to all for the pointers. I can crack on now :)
