As above,my daughters zantia was due to have an "itv"( Spanish mot ) she was worried about the amount of black smoke it was producing so put some " Diesel treatment " in the tank!
It cured the smokey exhaust, but also reduced the water temperature from around 90 deg c to around 75 deg c!
What's going on? Cleared all the crap out of the engine?
Will be handy in the summer, but at the mo' not much help ( heater not very hot!)
It failed on rear brake imbalance!(fixed with new discs and pads )

Morning all from a wet Spanish mountain, the reason for the above post was that I thought it might help Diesel vans with slightly high water temperatures!
I haven't tried " it" in my van yet but will report my findings when I do!
Got a wood fire going!

I use it a lot on services on older/high mileage dervs and fnd a lot have lower temps after, its mainly the spray pattern is restored on the injectors so you get a full proper burn

Ta James, that makes sense, the injectors on the zantia haven't been checked ( for spray pattern etc ) in the last 10 years !
I put of the same ( reduce smoke ) stuff in my van, seems to have reduced the water temperature a bit!and perhaps the EGT !
