T25 - 1.6TD JX Engine
Im fitting a new radiator which has two 38 mm connections for the rubber hoses. Can anyone explain which is the Hot Water Inlet ?
AND how the water Flows through the core matrix ?
Its possible to connect the Hot Water Inlet rubber hose to either of the two metal pipes coming from the engine! So, its important to get the FLOW going the right way through the rad.
Advice appreciated :ok

On my van the rubber pipes ( at the radiator) have to crossover each other,if they don't crossover the engine overheats!!

Interesting comments!
Can you advise how you discovered the need to have the radiator pipes crossed over to avoid overheating ?
And, to which stub (angled or straight down stub) does your engine HOT water rubber hose connect ? :?:

Can't you simply replace the pipes where they came from or have I missed something?

I had the pipes connected up for the early ( CS radiator) radiator where the pipes don't crossover ( I replaced the rubber pipes and had forgotten how they connected up!)
