USB

Just fitted a USB port in the dash of my van. I wanted to power a dash cam and my TomTom whilst keeping the cigarette lighter free to charge a phone.
When I fitted the dash cam to our Corsa I bought a wiring kit which offered a choice of a large fuse and a small fuse adapter. Just locate and remove a suitable fuse and plug in the adapter. Fit the removed fuse in the empty space on the adapter and you have a new fused outlet. The Corsa used the small fuse holder so I had a large fuse holder free. This I placed in fuse position 13, rear window heater. I then wired it to a marine USB socket and isolating switch mounted on a panel that is positioned in the ash tray hole.
