Aftermarket indicator and wiper stalk quality

Hi all!

I made a mistake when I stepped on my stalks laying on the ground. So I need new ones.
Locally we have two brands available Topran and Vemo.
I know that Topran is just a trading/boxing company, but not sure about the Vemo. Are they making the stalks themselves? The original ones were made by SWF

Are they from the same manufacturer? Is the Vemo brand worth the double price? Any experience with Topran?

Thanks!

I've used Topran on my Mk2 Golf and they felt quite notchy and of poor quality. I swapped them out quite soon afterwards. I'd recommend looking for some original second hand ones. Try this guy or punch the VAG code into Google/ebay.

I found an SWF indicator stalk in one of the local webshops. The wiper will be Vemo as I should wait for a week for the Topran while the Vemo arrives in a day.

(sry, my phone swithed to 640x480 in my pocket and I realised after the shoot)

Conclusion: I say the Vemo and Topran ones are made in the same factory, so you can buy the cheapest available. (I guess the JPgroup ones are the same too)
Compared to the OEM SWF brand both Vemo and Topran are good quality. There are some details that better and some that worse on the aftermarket ones. (eg. the injection mold is better on the aftermarket, but there are some missing reinforcing tabs, and the texturised surface is less detailed on the aftermarket one)
The switch feel is harder than OEM, but I say it is because the white silicone grease they used rather than the normal grease on the OEM. It can be softened with normal grease.
