Hi,
I'm trying but struggling to work out what the problem is here. I know the brakes and clutch run off the same reservoir but the problem may be entirely unrelated. I drove to relatives over Christmas a 500ml roundtrip. On setting off I noticed the brake biting point seemed a bit higher and then found a couple of times the clutch slipped despite being barely pressed. So, does anyone have any ideas if there could be something in the system that would be raising the pressure in both systems or have I got two unrelated issues?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated as the van is off the road for a suspension refurb so ideal time to do any work,

When did you last change the hydraulic fluid? I bet you haven't.

You can get it checked at most garages to see if it needs replacing. Or replace to be 100% sure.

Brake pedal coming up can be caused by:
Rubbing pads/shoes (expansion of brake fluid due to heat)
Servo failure (lack of brake efficiency diagnosed by pressing brake pedal then starting engine - pedal should drop due to engine vacuum)
Self adjuster notching up (once in a blue moon but rarely detectable and prob not on T25)
Mysterious goings on beyond our ken.

As for clutch pedal:
The only thing I can think of is the actuating rod from the cylinder to the release arm fell out of socket due to excessive free play and pushing on side of piston.

I can't think of anything else and how these two symptoms be related is a puzzle to me other than maybe some bizarre operator misconception due to something like:
RVSS (Rapid Vehicle Swop Syndrom) or:
EGWOS Everything Going Wrong at Once Syndrome)

Most interested in hearing final diagnosis though.
