Ok
The dash is out, to weld and paint the windscreen corners.
The blower motor already replaced
Am considering insulating behind here......any advice welcome, ta
Also any thing else I should look at ?

Soundproofing pads, washer jets and pipes, clean earth crowns and terminals, sort out dodgy wiring, check your brake booster is ok, check operation of heater control wires, treat rust behind blower motor housing, I took my wiper motor out and cleaned it, opened it up and greased the gears inside.

WHS^ silent coat on back of front panel and back of dash.

Also worth spending time on electrics tidying up all the scotch blocks/tape/halfords crimps that always appear to be added as an 'accessory'. Check cable ties are all in place.

Headlamp relays whilst it's apart?

Run a fat power cable up to the dash with relays for the headlight. Take the blower off of it on a separate fuse. install central locking. Tidy all the wiring.
