Window rubber fitting strip loose, new seal??

I've got the fitting strip (if that's what it's called) flapping about on my passenger window, I've got some card wedged in there to stop it blowing about. Do I need to get a new seal and does it come with a fitting strip??
Or should I just use a dab of glue to stick it back?

If it's the scraper strip, buy new and it'll actually clear the condensation off the glass as was intended.

Thanks for replies, I'm not sure it is that. It's very thin and flimsy and is coming out of between the window and the seal on the vertical part of the trailing part of the passenger window if that makes sense. Almost looks like it's part of the seal that's come unstuck from the main part of it. The seal is a bit cracked so maybe time for a new one.

I know the bit you mean know and yes, it is well past its best and will be letting more water into the door cavity than a new one will - time to replace! :ok

If it's the one that goes up the side and across the top and you Are on a budget Go to your local scrap yard and look for a Peugeot 206 2 door about a 03 plate it is longer then the one on your van so cut it down to size that's what I did good as new with a wipe all for £5.00 the pair :ok

I've got loads of stuff on my camper that isn't VW and much of it is better than the over-priced poop proudly claimed to be 'original' VW. Some bits you wonder what planet they're on.
