Interior heater trouble

Not sure if there is any advice anyone can give me. And I only have about 45 mins for you guys to answer before my internet is all gone but my fan heater (gas powered, positioned under my cooker) has stopped working. I can't remember the brand but it has an on off heater fan switch and a dail to control the temperature has stopped working.
Gas is still working but the heater won't start up. I know this is a long shot but if anyone has any advice I will try anything. It's freezing up here in the peaks and I'm not looking forward to the cold night.
Cheers guys
Think it may be a propex until but not sure. It's red if that helps.
It was working an hour ago. It suddenly stopped. Restarted a second later. And then cut out fully about a minute later

It sounds like a propex heater, they have a low voltage cut off, I'm unsure of the threshold but if your not on hookup try starting the van to get some charge into the leisure battery.

Thanks for the quick reply. On hook up but I think i hasn't connected it properly initially so I may have B been running the heater from the leisure batteybfor the 20 mins until it turned off. Maybe it's low on power. Sounds like a silly question but now I'm hooked up properly will this recharge my leisure battery or not?
Would love to start the engine but I broke down as I arrived at the site. Hopefully the AA can get me up and running tomorrow

It should do yes but it does depend on how your particular van is wired up

If it IS a Propex, John and I wrote quite a bit about the Propex:

Do we need to form a search party and go to dig him out of a glacier now?

Thanks for the advice guys. I survived the night so you can all stop worrying haha
Never did get it started. And yeah using butane so I think that's the problem. I heard swapping to propane may sort the issue. Not a lot of using having a heater that won't start when it's cold is it.

Aye, I had issues on the blue stuff. I use red all year round now. Present night time temperatures would be enough to cause blue to fail.
