Evening all,

I have just taken our van In to have him looked at as I decided to investiage some rot and well, its beyond my remit! In turn iv been quoted £900 for All the welding, wax oil and is including setting up my timing as he's running ropey. However I have to supply my repair panels. I'm looking around and not sure who's best for panels? Brickwerx haven't got them all and they are saying what they do have isn't the best quality.
So Best place to get repair panels?

I'm having to replace
Lower Outer sliding door
Front to rear arch both sides,
Side centre panel bottom part
B pillars possibly both sides
Front step passenger side
The front windows also coming out as there's a hole just under the window

Does this sound like a fairly good price for all that? I think they're also gonna do me an oil change, ht leads, dizzy and spark plugs all of which I have to supply.

Thanks

Sounds very reasonable to me.Try AH Schofield for your panels. Not all aftermarket panels are a perfect fit and may need a bit of fettling to fit.

Don't be put of Brickwerks panels. They try to be honest about what they sell unlike a lot of other suppliers. Most but not all of the aftermarket panels are a bit poor whoever you buy them from.
To be honest, for the amount of work needed to do those jobs correctly £ 900 seems a drop in the ocean ( not that I have £900 to spend on anything)
Take a look at some of metal mick8ys work on here and the facebook t3 restoration group for an idea of whats often involved. Better still, have your welder take a look before he gives you a firm price.
