We used campervan curtains. Very helpful, quick turn round. We got the light stop lining fitted as well which makes a lot of difference to the light and the temperature. Probably not the cheapest but worked for us. I was lucky to have the original Devon curtains to make a drawing from to send them.

Well we looked around and saw some we liked (but not the price!) So we bought all the material Inc 3 layer blackout lining and magnets in hems etc, borrowed a sewing machine and made them.No previous experience, including the silent Gliss track, totalled £80. I can send you the main sizes if your interested.

yep but these are lined with blackout, made exactly for the Holdsworth in the material of my choice and have the two extra curtains for the poptop windows worth 200 quid IMO.

I had some curtains made by Sleep Easy Curtains recently. I worked out I would save about 100 pounds making them myself so opted to have them made instead. I might have spent a day finding the fabric, a day measuring up and two days making them. No point.

189.99 pounds for thermal lining, eight curtains and eight tie-backs.
Some companies only supply one curtain for the back. Sleep Easy supplies two.
There's a very good choice of fabrics. I chose 'Disc Mint and Lime' and it looks the same as the photo. It's very good quality fabric.
Everything was made very well apart from the tie-backs, which seem a bit short although I've obviously not been able to confirm that yet. They close with press-studs. You'd have to sew some loops to them and fit hooks to your van.
They take a long time to arrive. I think you might have to wait a few weeks.

Silver screens block more light but are slow to put up/take down, then bulky to store
They reflect sunlight so good in hot countries
if you pull up in a layby and want some privicy curtains are quick.
if you are stopping for a night curtains are easy
if You are camping for a week or in hot countries I'd use silver screens.
I have used silver screens for years and will still take them to france but curtains are for weekend camping.

We used vwcampervancertains for ours, they were lined with the light stop material and are velcroed together so you get very little gaps. They keep the temperature down or up in the van quite well. Not sure how they compare to the silver mats.
As we have a pop top we lose or gain a lot of heat from that, so we have the cover to go round that but it is a PITA to fit.

I've been sent this URL; these curtains use magnets, but still need putting up each time. Just another option to consider.

Silver screens are all or nothing......daylight or blackout. Curtains can be drawn in the day to provide some heat protection and privacy but still allow some light in.

I considered those but I am put off magnets having used something similar before and been frustrated by the magnets sticking to each other while installing.
