Which is easier to do for a new welder having a go please?

If you could post some images of the rusted area, people can advise with a good route to take

Don't bother with the big thin floppy things.Why cut the side of your van off if it's not rusty? It might seem like a lot of work but replacing as built will do a much better job and is far more satisfying. Use the BBT? magnum archs and repair around as necessary. And go slow!!
