Hey there!
First time posting here..

I've recently bought my first T25 (1989 California) and I believe my 12v fuse might have blown as the inside lights won't switch on.
Does this sound right?

I was hoping someone could help me out.

Cheers

The only way to know is to check your fuses.Remove the fuse cover look on the inside of it.There is a diagram of fuse positions.Oh welcome BTW.

when you say 'inside lights', do you mean the little one over the sliding door, and the courtesy light near the rear view mirror, or do you mean lights which are part of the camper setup? These run off of your leisure battery, and won't be sorted at the fuse box.

Ah I see, I meant the lights which are part of the camper set up.. Which happen to be working now. I'm not sure why that is.. :?
So all 'camping setup' interior lights run off the leisure battery and all other interior lights don't?

Well, that's the normal setup. It might vary from one conversion to another, but basically, the lights that come with the standard Transporter van from the VW factory run off the starter battery via the fuse box, and the ones installed by the camper conversion people will come off the leisure battery, You may need to turn a main switch in the control panel on to get all the leisure electrics working, including the lights. And of course the leisure battery will need to be charged too.
