hi folks , I have a 1980 devon camper t25 and have got loads of work planned over the winter ending with a full respray in the spring .
van needs a re trim as the lining carpet I used years ago to trim all the panels with is starting shed dust which is bloody awfull . I have seen a mates t5 all trimmed up with veltrim and it looks realy good , I was intending to do all new interior cards with stuff any way , but I am having ideas of trimming the painted metal work with a lighter colour veltrim to contrast and will save so much painting / prep on the inside .
the only concern is how well will this fit around the windows , and stand up to condensation ?????????????
any offers of advice ??????????????

Done this on mine with MegaVanMats stretch carpet works a treat. I then bought a new trim strip to cover and close the gap to the window seal. I'll post pics later. I have not had an issue with any lifting or failure from condensation.

Just doing mine at the moment don't be to concern about round the windows it stretches its a bit tuf but just concentrate on sticking the side on first then go for a cup of tea no rush then when your refreshed cut stretch and glue round the windows no need for the rubber trim unless you cut to far into the corners that's assuming you are taking your windows out when you respray it :D
This is where I got mine from the glue is great stuff strong http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/7m-camper-van-l ... nav=SEARCH" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Image[/URLImage[/URLImage

Didn't get round to tackling the carpet yesterday but hopefully will this evening.

I'm going to glue it directly over the bubble foil -
