Just seen this on Halfrauds website with 25% off and 5 years warranty looks a good buy, not sure it is suitable for 1.9 diesel as the they only gave the option for the 1.6?

O75 is good for petrol engines.....25% makes that £71.00?

Cheaper/better brand/5 year warranty/more powerful
Type 096 first (which is a full height 190mm high battery) and a type 100 which is not quite as tall (low profile battery) at 175mm high.

Yup..also good.

Note* CCA (cold cranking amps) is the all important specification for a starter battery, especially for a diesel engine, the higher the better...I believe the Varta is 780 compared to the 760 Yuasa, splitting hairs really but if you were thinking the Yuasa's 80 amp hour rating was better (compared to 77AH of the Varta) CCA is more important!!

To be gained? its a quality battery, its the right size, it has a very high CCA, its a fair price...sounds good to me.
