Are you rebuilding a wbx 2.5 or ditching for a subaru?

Yes, number 2 it is, exciting, plan is to keep the van for a long time so I feel the investment is worth it; although it feels a bit odd to have the van in Lincolnshire, the gearbox in mid Wales and whats left of the engine in Surrey..

I have seen the yellow on lots of water jacket seals, not sure why?
Good to see another WBX fan prepared to invest, modified or not better than an organ donor.

No idea on the yellow, perhaps Ian will jump in with an explanation. First van I've owned so not sure I count as a wasserboxer fan but longer term I think keeping things VW will be worth more. 2.5 build is not cheap but it's a bit different and speaking to Pete Barr does the job very well!
