Fitting JR head to JX Block

Hi, can anybody give me details on how to covert the JR (hydraulic lifter) to a JX block that had mechanical lifters. I know that you have to block up the second oil hole in the JR head but are there any other changes ie what gasket do i use, is the original oil pump substantial enough for the hydraulic lifters all information would be appreciated, thanks.
