Hi all

I'm going to be sorting the bodywork on my van outdoors over the autumn/winter.

Is anyone aware of a waterproof cover available to keep the rain out when I detach doors etc. for repair.

There are water resistant ones available but I need waterproof. My van is a westfalia high top.

Cheers
Myles

I have one of the Maypole "water resistant" ones...keeps about 80-90%+ of water off, but more importantly it can breathe to let any moisture underneath dry out. I put a couple of old tyres on roof first to keep a gap between cover and roof which also helps a airflow. Used to use a tarpaulin which kept all rainfall off, but was always "sweaty" underneath. There's always gonna have to be a balance

Thanks for the reply.

So if I go for a maypole breathable cover it will keep most of the rain out in a deluge? Just don't want water pooling in the cavities creating more rot.

Cheers

Cover the apertures with plastic sheet and tape then put the cover on.
