Alternator Hella vs Bosch vs Brikcweks

I think my alternator had packed up and i've got 10 days left before my trip does anyone know if this Bosch is correct for a 1.6TD JX Syncro 1991

You think? Stick a multimeter on it, should kick our 13.8-14.2 Volts when running. Brickwerks only sell what they've tried and tested, so I'd go down that route personally.

Well yes it is running intermittently sometimes it's ok I think there is a short somewhere but will need taking off and looking at. I wouldn't mind a back up anyway so happy to buy another one and fix this one up for a back up.
