Hello,

There is no strainer..

1 x 13 mm bolt to remove the plate..

Be very careful to re-tighten correctly (13nm IIRC)

as if the cross bolt is bent.. and you break the casting by over tightening.. to stop that oil leak..Ooops..

Cordialement,

Thanks, what is the circular plate with two bolts to the right and above the sump plate as shown in the first photo?

The strainer is under the centrally located plate held with a single fastening. Its like an Aircooled beetle one but slightly smaller, you'll need a gasket kit and wash it out with petrol. grease the gaskets before refitting to prevent them sticking like the proverbial stuff to a blanket.

Non of your business..

The oil drain is the single (13mm IIRC) nut..

Do not try to be clever and undo the metal plate... as if you do not have experience of these fragile engines you will break the bit I showed you in the photos.. if not this time.. then the next.

Just do the oil change.. change the filter.. rim of oil round the seal..

Drive it learn it love it.. :)

Its an Aircooled thing.. 8)
