WBX main bearings question?

Brickwerks list late WBX bearings as 'ALL' 1.9 and 2.1

Bentley talks about blue and red dots, It looks to me like blue is standard and the red 'very slightly undersize' is probably no longer available.

I guess if you get a red crank you just have to regrind or fit Blue bearings?

I would suggest you check with one or more makers of bearings (eg. KS) what they have available. Tecdoc is often useful for this.

Red are still available from VW classic, just add 001 to the part number for blue dot or 004 for red dot.

OK I think I have understood now

IF you have a red or blue dot Bentley says, so there are three sizes

025198461A Standard and what Brickwerks sell for a crank dead on 60/55/55/40

025198461A001 blue a bit under

025198461A004 red a bit more under
