HI,

Has anyone got the codes for a 65 amp alternator bearings, planning a trip to the highlands and I have a noisey alternator, I am going to have to wait until Wednesday to remove the cover as I need an impact driver to remove a couple of stubborn cover screws and I cant find mine anywhere. Would like to order them so I am ready.

6203-2RSH for the regulator end.

Any difference with a 90ah?

Infact...bearing part numbers for the front wheel bearings (early & late) would also be useful...

Those bearing numbers I listed were given to me as fitting 45A & 65A alternators, so I guess the 90A must be different

Yes it uses a wider bearing for the pulley end, I think it was a 6303 2RSH but don't quote me I haven't done one for a long time.

Back in the day! lol we would often source our bearings directly from a bearing supplier rather than use the over inflated route of a main dealer boxed supply.

A full bearing list would be a great asset and save forum users lots of pennies, at the same time gaurantee quality manufacturer supply.

off topic: I bought FAG rear bearing set from FAG bearing dealer for half of the discount price of the local biggest autopart webshops and fot third of their listing price.

I always used to use my local bearing supplier - take the old one in and they would match it. They never failed me. Never had that sharp intake of breath when paying either! http://www.eabs.co.uk/shop/featured-products. We used to have a good piston supplier and a belt manufacturer/supplier across the road from each other, sadly now gone.

I am not one to recommend anyone without a good reason but we always use Leicester bearings, they have been around for years and have never failed to help us with any issues, next day delivery and now with a great website, also have expanded into many other areas including belt drives oldiebutgoodie

One in Cov too, just off the Foleshill Road. Not stumped him yet.

Ditto, sadly I must say RIP my local proper old-school bearing supplier, as they were taken over by one of those godawful generic 'industrial-supply' chains, 'Eriks', the sort of place I try and boycott these days due to their generally sh1tty practices.
