need to touch up a scratch on my 1987 1.9 caravelle but the sticker with the info is missing can you get the code from somewhere else..the van is a metalic silver

If you ring the local VW dealer give them your registration they should be able to tell you. However for a touch up you could probably find an approximate match at Halfords or local motor factor.
