I asked this question to a seller on ebay who apparently specialises in camper bodywork, he recommended that I would need about 6 tubes. I've ordered 5 tubes and will footing my roof next week. Check out my thread in the major restoration forum.

I used 3 on my van. Tintop to Hightop. I also was told that silkaflex stuff is just as good, but I took the advice of you guys and used tigerseal.

I should request the product is in date before despatch, save any problems once it's landed on your door mat.

My Tigerseal arrived today, expiry date is 03/17 so a good 8 months remaining. Happy enough with that.

Dave.

Will it be at least 7 months before you even consider beginning the task? That seems to be the way with me, I've got all the spares but no time!!

The answer to that is to do what I do: Plan not to do any work on the van and you'll have all the time in the world.
