Alloy width

I picked ups set of alloys very cheap, two are bored out to 62mm but they still won't fit over the front caps.
Second issue is that they seem very wide, measuring a whopping 8.5 inches wide. The bolt face to rim is about 2.5 in, whileon the inside of the wheel, the rim to hub surface is about 6in. I can't fathom what that makes the et. Two have 195 70 15 and two have 205 15s. If I kept them it would be 195s all round.
Should I just ditch them.

If it's 8.5" wide, and the face-to-hub is 6", then the offset's going to be about 6-(8.5/2) = 6-4.25 = 1.75", 45mm or so.

195 is way too narrow for 8.5" rims.

Are they fouling on the brakes or suspension?
