Changing Interior

Hi Guys

I have a 1988 Carthago Malibu T25 with pop top but the interior is getting a little "tired" . I was thinking to re panel it using the existing layout but changing from the plasticated type doors etc to plywood ones. Do you think this would devalue the van in anyway as it will then not be original Malibu layout.

I know there are not too many Malibu's about. It is basically a Westie but slightly different inside

Cheers for any thoughts on this

If you left the original tired cupboards in would they devalue the van?
If the next owner did not know about Malibu interiors, would they be bothered?
Or would they just be happy to see a nice tidy interior.

It's your van so do what you like, I don't think that replacing tired old doors for new will devalue it as long as they are done well
