anyone reccomend a Mechanic to check westy pre purchase

Hi Thanks everyone, Would anyone know where I can find any mechanics specializing in T4's who would check a westy, or should I just go to AA who advertise checking vehicles?

If you want someone to check over a T4, then you may be on the wrong site!
But if you meant to say T3 (or T25), there are people on here who do this for a living, and others who may well do it just for the price of a beer or two, if they live nearby.
Try Simon at T3volution (on here as Toomanytoys) if you want a professional (well worth it).
Also, let us know where you are - you might be just down the road from an experienced owner......

Hi, it's not perhaps the full report that you have in mind, but an MOT test at a reputable garage will cover aspects that the motoring organisation you mentioned failed to test ( emissions, cold start ) when we got them to look at a T4.
Their engineer stated 'that he would not advise against purchasing the vehicle' - work that one out...
