VW garage specialist Kent/SE London - white smoke

Can anyone recommend a garage who o can take my 90 Califirnia to please? Back from bug jam and it over heated, prob my fault as hadn't checked the water in a while. But now it's missing, lift the throttle and it clears, white smoke, and could potentially be injectors, ( crack off 1 and 2 and no change, crack off 3 and 4 and it near stalls, so need a recommendation for a good garage who know the engines and vehicles please???

You may have warped the head, so get a compression test done, the engine is a standard VW TD, no particular van knowledge needed. Just find someone sufficiently experienced to actually remember a TD engine

my chap wasn't a vw specialist, but he has been working on my fleet a while.
he is, however, pretty damn good with engines

Hi,
You could try John Bowles down at Dunton Green.
He has a good reputation as far as I know and has been involved with V W's for many years.
I have not used him myself but pick up spares from him .
