Hello all I have a 1983 2.0 air cooled t25. A little strange but from cold it starts on the button (although the auto choke takes a while to kick in). But when you start from warm it take ages to fire. Any ideas?

Oh no! I hope not. I thought it might be a carb problem.

I had a similar problem which is all sorted since we replaced the fuel tank and lines. Gunk in them I guess.

They do as you have to purge a rich vapor mixture from the carbs .
But there are different lengths of ages.
First do you follow the starting procedure for a hot engine? It would also be worth checking the auto chokes are adjusted correctly.
