Hi Club,

My throttle cable snapped today.

Whilst Im looking about for a replacement - please could someone look at the picture and tell me if the arm / lever that the cable attaches to is standard?

Image

as mine has a weber carb just wondered if there was any difference and dont want to end up with one the wrong length.

Brickworks is out of stock - so Im thinking this from JK :

Its snapped near this arm and I've probably lost any bolts

Hi club,

After getting a new throttle cable over the weekend - I spent a bit of time under the van. I was looking at the path of the old throttle cable and started to fit the new one following the same route. I started at the back and worked towards the front.

My old throttle cable goes above the fuel tank - just wanted to check this was the correct route before I spend some more time trying to replicate? Expecting lots of cursing words.

After the fuel tank I've got the fun part of trying to connect to the pedal - I've taken the indicator lights out and can see the parts of the pedal connecting to the old cable.

If anyone has any tips please feel free to share!
