Hi guys, been a while since I've been on here.
Just wondering if anyone knows how to go about removing a 'laserline' immobiliser? I think it is possibly causing starting problems and it has never worked anyway.
Thanks

I dont know specifics about that particular immobiliser but if its like any other aftermarket type immobiliser i've fitted in the past then find the immobilser box itself and follow the wires coming from it, there will be one or 2 of the vehicles wires that will have been physically cut that will then be attached onto the immobiser wiring loom, you will need to rejoin the vehicle wires as the immobiler is just effectivley a big switch/relay that either breaks or connects those wires (usually to fuel pump or ignition coil) depending on the armed/disarmed status, the rest of the wires will be things like supply power and earth for the immobilser box itself. other wires may be things like output to central locking and indicators if its also an alarm/immobiliser, now that i think about it i'm sure i had put one of these on Nova SR about 18 years ago

if you can find the box and model number of it then you should be able to find an instruction manual online, that should help you with pin-outs
